Adam Sandler Said What?!

Recently a topless portrait of Bea Arthur hit the auction block. It was painted in 1991, when Bea would’ve been around 69 years old. She didn’t pose for this, so it’s not necessarily anatomically correct. Regardless, it did go for nearly 2 million dollars.

In 1994 in the movie Airheads, when Adam Sandler, Brendon Fraser and Steve Buscemi hold a radio station hostage one of their demands was for a naked picture of Bea Arthur.

You Were Meant For Jewel

I’ve been a fan of Jewel since she hit the airwaves back in the 90s, but this post isn’t really about Jewel… totally. The song “You Were Meant For Me” was written by Jewel and a man named Steve Poltz.

I had an opportunity to meet Steve in 2003 as he was promoting his album “Chinese Vacation”, and he had such great stories to share. While his album didn’t come out until it was too late to be included in The Radio Reboot, I would suggest you check it out. Above is a youtube of one of my favorites from “Chinese Vacation”. And below you’ll find a link to a great interview as well as acoustic performances.
