Bee Girl
The “Bee Girl” turns 31 on February 1.
Heather DeLoach starred in the video for Blind Melon’s hit No Rain. She’s dressed in a bee costume. The video begins with the girls’ tap dancing routine. Laughter from the audience causes the “bee girl” to leave in tears. She wanders and dances through a city before ending up at a gate to a field full of “bee people.”
Now, Heather DeLoach is an actress. She’s popped up in shows ranging from ER to Reno 911, according to IMDB. She maintains a Facebook page for fans who still remember her as the “Bee Girl.”
DeLoach is not the bee girl on the cover of Blind Melon’s self-titled album that features No Rain. That’s Georgia Graham, who is the sister of the band’s drummer, Glen Graham. The picture on the album was Georgia in 1975. At the time of the filming of the No Rain video, she was 25. That’s why she’s not the “bee girl” in the video.

Someone put together a version of “Ice Ice Baby” using only lines from different movies. They used 280 different movies to complete the whole song.
Sirvana?
Paul McCartney did a concert in Seattle over the weekend, and during his encore he brought up the surviving members of Nirvana. Here’s Paul with Dave Grohl, Krist Novoselic, and Pat Smear doing “Cut Me Some Slack”.
These guys have been seemingly spending a lot of time together, perhaps they’ll reunite as “Sir-vana”?
We’re Getting The Band Back Together
John Stamos announced that he’s getting his old “Full House” band back together. Jesse and the Rippers will be on “Late Night With Jimmy Fallon”.

A New View
Jenny McCarthy is joining “The View” as a permanent co-host this fall. Barbara Walters announced it on the program. (Jenny has been a guest co-host eight times, and she’s been a regular guest another nine times. She’ll start at the beginning of Season 17 on September 9th.)
